V1 Beatbox Battle 2022 took place at Vosstaniya 1 in St. Petersburg on June 3, 2022, alongside a rap freestyle battle. After a selection round of 1.5-minute sets, four qualifiers joined the invited CheckMate, Improver, Zer0 and Dropical in an eight-man bracket. Semi-finals added a drum round over a live bassist, and the final ended on a question-and-answer round. Helium, Pizzicato and Taras Stanin judged, and Azerbaijan's Zer0 beat Dropical in the final.
