About us
Finding a battle shouldn’t depend on luck.
beatbox·world started because one of us came back from a five-year break, wanted nothing more than to compete again — and couldn’t find a single event without knowing the right people and opening the right story on the right day.
So we built the place where it all lives: events you can actually find, entries you send from your phone, judging that happens in the app — and results that end up archived on their own.

Three founders, and the beatboxers who fill the archive with us. The contributor numbers below aren’t titles we handed out — they’re counted from the edit log.

Beatboxer, developer, and the product's first user. He came back from a five-year break and found out — by pure luck, through a friend's story — that a battle had been held right next door: beatbox·world grew out of that frustration.
As CEO of beatbox·world, he designs and builds the entire platform — the archive and the public site, the native iOS and Android apps, and the tools organizers use to run a battle: brackets, in-app judging, rankings.

One source of truth
Beatbox history is real history — titles, rivalries, careers. It's documented in plenty of places and structured in none: nothing ties a result to its event, an event to its organizer, a beatboxer to what they actually did.
