Wildcards

Wildcards without the spreadsheet

Entrants submit their video on your event page. Your judges score in a real cockpit built for it, the ranking is computed for you, and you reveal the results when you decide.

  • Your own scoring grid per judge, with a cut line for your top X
  • A commissioner who checks every video against your rules, and entrants who see what's flagged
  • Feedback from the jury, revealed to each entrant with the results

Brackets

Your bracket, live

Place your battles, record each judge's vote, and the bracket updates on your event page while the battle is still on stage.

  • Every format: top 16, 7 to smoke, Florida pools, showcases
  • Ties, extensions, small final, drop-outs
  • The video of each battle, attached when it's out

Program and tickets

The whole day, hour by hour

Your schedule as a timeline, the acts on stage, your ticketing link: what the audience looks for, on the page they already have open.

Sign-ups and check-in

From the application to the door

Open applications for a window you choose, accept them one by one, then validate everyone at the entrance with their QR code. Your volunteers do it from their phone.

Your team

Everyone in their role

Invite your co-organizers to manage the event with you, and your volunteers only to the check-in. Each edition has its own team.

A living archive

Nothing to copy anywhere

Your results go straight into the archive: each participant's career and Elo update on their own, and your event joins its series, year after year.

Questions

Is my event public as soon as I create it?

No. You prepare it quietly, and you choose when it becomes public.

My event is already in the archive. What happens to it?

If your card or your organization co-organizes it, it's already in your organizer space: you can manage it right away, and open the next edition once you have organizer access.

My entrants already fill in a Google Form. Do I have to drop it?

No. Paste your answer sheet: beatbox·world finds each entrant and sends them an email invitation to claim their card and follow their wildcard.

What happens to the results?

They're part of the archive: on your event page, on each participant's profile and career, and in the Elo rankings.

Who can organize?

Any beatboxer who claimed their card can ask. If you organize with an organization (a crew, an association), mention it in your request and we'll attach it to your account.
