East German Beatbox Championship 2023

The second edition of the East German Beatbox Championship took place on 11 March 2023 at Cassiopeia in Berlin. Despite the name, the championship was open to beatboxers from anywhere. Entry was through an online wildcard round, and three categories were held: Solo (eliminations, then an eight-person bracket from the quarter-finals with a small final), Solo U18 (semi-finals and final) and Loopstation, where Friidon, SyJo and Mistix first met in a three-way fantasy battle before the final. The top three in Solo and the winners of Loopstation and U18 qualified for the German Beatbox Championship. Zota won the Solo against El Grande, with Beissa third. Friidon took the Loopstation against SyJo, and Eddie won the U18. Osis, M-Age, River', KBA and Mistix performed showcases.
