The New York Beatbox Championship is a yearly solo beatbox battle in New York City, launched in 2023 by Long Island Beatbox and the beatboxer Ghost. Anyone can compete, wherever they come from: an open elimination round on the day (joined by online wildcards since 2026) fills the bracket, a top 8 at the first edition and a top 16 since 2025. Around the battle, the weekend brings workshops with the judges, open jams and, since 2026, a Super Smash Bros tournament.
