SBX Kickback Battle 2021

Swissbeatbox's answer to a year without stages: a solo battle fought entirely from home. 280 wildcards were sent in during December 2020, and the top eight were each shipped the same studio kit — a DPA 2028 microphone, a Roland Rubix22 interface and V-MODA headphones — so that nobody would win on their gear. Those eight first ranked one another in a seeding round, then fought through a bracket of eight across two months, from 28 January to 28 March 2021, with Alexinho, NaPoM and Tom Thum judging every round. D-low took it, beating Zekka 2–1 in the final. All eight kept the equipment.
