New York Beatbox Championship 2025

The second New York Beatbox Championship, organized by Long Island Beatbox and Ghost and hosted by JACKNASTY at Sugar Mouse in Manhattan on June 7, 2025. Anyone could enter: 33 beatboxers performed in an open elimination round on the night, and the best 16 moved on to a top 16 solo battle, the first edition having stopped at a top 8. Gene Shinozaki, Amit, DEN, FootboxG and Supernova judged. BizKit won the title against Shield in the final, after semi-finals against JayLip and LemBo. The championship was the centerpiece of a three-day weekend that opened with a workshop by the judges at Grey Studios in Long Island City and closed with the Long Island Beatbox Barbecue.
